Antique Sicilian Donkey cart, fullsized

Full sized donkey Sicillian cart or carretti. 49 inches tall, 52 inches wide, 7 feet long with the shafts. The box is 37" long, 30" wide and 14" tall. Made in Palermo,We believe the scenes are the following" "Cristoforo Colombo before board of Salamanca 1486" and "First landing in the new world from Cristoforo Colombo" and"Colombos Egg" or "The egg of Colombos" and "Reception of Cristoforo Colombo at the court of Spain 1493" It also has written on it "fabrica de carri" and "corso vittorio emmanuele" Possbly an area in Palermo? (Our translations) The cart is in excellent condition, with very vibrant colors. A headstall, pad, and harness are with the cart, but show some wear, Very well made, it balances with the shafts straight out, nothing holding them up. We got the cart in the 1970's from a farm in Virginia.
