Description

There are no markings on this piece that I am able to find. I know very little about the poiece itself except that it was once in a US senators house for a very long time. This was a gift and the person that gave it to me did not tell me much about it. I may be looking in the wrong place for a marking but I did not see any.

It was a gift and the person that gave it to me only told me that it was in a US senators house for a long period of time but I do not know which senator or for how long it was there. I cannot see any distinguishing marks anywhere but if I am looking in the wrong places please let me know and I will look again.
