Description
I bought this at an estate auction. I don't know anything about it. It is a neat old piece. Original mirror, has some darkening in corner of it. Good condition considering the age. Would love to have more information about it. Thanks.
Re: Antique sideboard/buffet
This piece dates from the first quarter of the 20th century and is in what's loosely called the "Colonial Revival" style. Such pieces were made to resemble American Colonial furniture made circa 1620-1780, this one based on William & Mary style which was first made in the late 1600's. These were mass produced pieces and are not considered rare or very valuable, but there was a big demand for them back in the late 1980's, not so much now though. Currently at auction we see these go for under $200.00.
