I don’t know anything about this piece and will appreciate any input. It is very heavy and measures 60” w, 19.25”d and 20” h It was used at a bank at one time in the Southern California area. I purchased it at an antique street fair about 4 years ago. Thanks
Re: Antique Spanish Style Wood and Iron bench
This piece is in the Spanish Revival style, first popular around the time of the outbreak of world war one (1914-18) but not picking up in big popularity til the 1920's. It was revived again in the 1950's and 1980's. Pieces like this would have been used as Library tables or other Institutional settings as the bank inventory marking on this one indicates. This one probably dates to the mid 1920's and is a nice piece $500.00- $800.00
