It's a display cabinet, dates from the first quarter of the 20th century, most likely used in a jewellery store. Most of these date from the late 1890's to World War One ( 1914). Demand for cabinets like this last peaked in the 1990's, demand and values has declined a great deal since then. Most now sell at auction for under 100.00 at auction.
