Description

Small antique metal tin - originally containing 'Finest Quality English Manufactured Steel Pins' (as stated on the lid - I found it with pins in it but not sure if they are original)

Red, black and gold - lion head on the lid, along with gold lettering - black lettering around the edges - oval-shaped recess to lid - lid fits snuggly but is easily removable

Difficult to date precisely but appears to date from the early decades of the twentieth century. Maker unknown but probably of English manufacture (as were the enclosed pins)

In reasonably good condition. Lid fits snuggly. Several dark marks to lid and areas of rubbing/scratching to paintwork (please see photos for condition).

This is a SMALL tin. Precise dimensions approx. 3" x 2" x 1" (approx. 7.5cm x 5cm x 2.5cm)
