I collect antique telescopes but recently bought an antique surverying scope, mostly by accident. As you can see in the images it is cool; however, I have very little idea how much it is worth. It has a very small draw for focusing the crosshairs and a knob on top for focusing on objects. The image seems good if a little dim (compared to antique telescopes). Incidently, I took the tape off and it does not seem to have had any purpose.
