Description

Antique table bought at a yard sale this past weekend. The people I bought it from bought an old house that had all its original furniture in it. The previous owner has been deceased for over 20 years and had no family. The new owners just wanted to get rid of furniture.

I would like to know what type of table this is and its origin.  I come from Central Pennsylvania so my first thought was is this Amish made because its hand carved and its legs and feet are one piece. It does have wooden casters on it that are in beautiful shape.

The owners could not find the insert to the table but I would like to try and make one and restore the table to its original beauty.

The top of the table is made with wide plank boards and has a skirt around it with a rope type trim.

The table has 6 legs and the middle 2 legs go sideways for when the insert would be added.

I have tried to search the internet for anything close to this and have not found a thing. The feet on the table are just so pretty. There aren't any other out there that I could find.

Please let me know what you can find about this beautiful piece that many people already want from me but can not have.

Thank you for your help.
