Description

I do not have a clue to as where this would be used, time period or country. It appears to be solid brass, is very heavy and a couple people I have showed it to that have knowledge of antiques seem to think they may have come from a church. I am hesitant to think it may be from a church since it has seahorses on it and no religious symbols. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
