Antique Tapestry Made in France Good Condition 75"w x 60"h

By bonnie13838, 25 January, 2014
Description

This tapestry was hanging in a family home in Southern California. It was hanging in the home in the early 1970s. Family members do not remember where the tapestry originally came from - just that it had been hanging in the family home.  The piece is marked "made in France" and also has a number on the reverse side of the bottom piece of wood - SF49707/31.  We have attempted searching on the internet as well as asking local antique dealers; however no one can really provide more information.

Thanks for helping us determine where this may have come from and the possible value.
