Antique Tricycle frame

This is the frame for an antique tricycle.  That's about all I can tell you.  My father bought it, probably with the intent of restoring it, but he died and it's come into my possession.  

It still has one wooden handle, both pedals, and one can see the springs in the fram eof the seat, but I can find no labels or markings that would suggest its age or who made it.  

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it or give me an idea of its worth.
