BASED ON THE MARKINGS IT WAS MADE BY STERLING COMPANY WHO WAS IN BUSINESS FROM 1917-1929. IT ALSO HAS A SMALL X AWAY FROM THE MARK. THEN IT WAS SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE. IT IS A CREAM COLOR WITH GOLD PLATING ON IT. THERE ARE SMALL RAISED DOTS AROUND THE TOP AREA OF THE BOWL. THE INSIDE HAS A GOLD SEAL OF SOME KIND. IT HAS A TINY LIKE BUBBLE MARK ON THE TOP AND A SCALLOPPED BOTTOM. VERY NICE PIECE
