Antique Wardrobe

Description

This wardrobe has a beautiful pattern within the wood on the doors. Inside are three shelves, the middle and bottom shelf are removable. There is a bar to hang clothes from, as well as four hooks in the back. It has a skeleton key lock. The armoir is 78" high x 47" wide x 18" deep.

Purchased at an antiques store in Riley, KS in 1991. Owner told buyer she had gone to England and attended an auction, where she purchased this wardrobe.

This is an Art Deco piece, they've been imported from England by the container load since the 1980's. Most like this date from the late 1920's through to WW2 ( 1939). Values vary depending on local demand, but most at auction sell for under $300.00.
