Description
This trunk was passed down through the family from relatives from St. Louis. It is sound and the only major issue is the disintergration of the leather lifting straps. I have not attempted any type of cleaning of the cloth interior.

Steamer trunks like this tend to date from the first quarter of the 20th Century. Examples like this one ` In the rough` tend to have modest values unless they carry the name tag of a big name company like LOUIS VUITTON, comparable trunks often sell at auction for less than $150.00.
