Description

8 ft 54 inch top Watertown Slide Dining Table. Believe to be made in or around 1921 in Watertown Wis. Company name and patent number are stamped below table (picture attached). Lots of ornate carvings throughout. Came with 8 chairs (6 chairs and 2 captains chairs). Chairs have been recovered but original upholstery is underneath and has not been damaged. Original fabric was cream/beige with thin red stripes.

Some damage to caning on back of chairs (some was there when we purchased it 5 years ago and some more recent from our one year olds discovery of being able to poke a finger into the caning design)

top has minor damage and overall table is in pretty good shape.

My husband purchased this table at an estate sale in a “mansion” located in Paxton, IL five years ago.

interested in its value and any history that may be known about it.
