Re: Antique Wooden Bench
Benches like these tend to date from the second quarter of the 19th century, made right up to the 1840's. Very few of them have any markings on them to indicate a maker and were originally painted, some with stencilled decoration. The examples stripped of all paint tend to go at auction today in the $250.00-450.00 range.
