Description I don't know much about this piece other than it's been in my mother's collection form as long as I can remember. It is solid wood with a bunch of decorative wooden parts cold parts carved on the doors and the back.. It is very heavy it doesn't have any manufacturers marks that I can tell.

Hi, are there any markings, either text or images, on the back or bottom of the buffet? Sometimes you can even have marking inside the drawers (if you remove the drawers) or in the hutch. Marking will help greatly for us to identify and place a value.

It's a Empire Revival style piece made about 1895, these were made primarily in oak rather than the mahogany used on the. originals made 1815-1845. These "Golden Oak" pieces were a hot item right till the 1990's, but market demand has crashed since then for pieces like this. At auction it might go for 150.00
