Antique Wooden Coffee Table

Not sure what kind of table this is and from what year. All I know it is old and has wooden carving on it as pictured. Sadly my family member ruined the top with cigarette burns but this probably could be sanded and refirnished? Any idea what year, what kind and value this has? Thanks.
