Antique Yellow Vase with Unknown Graphics. This was part of an estate sale in a house we purchased in the 1970's from a very old couple. It doesn't have a marker's mark but does have "words" that look possibly arabic on the top of the vase.
It measures: 12 1/2" tall x 4" at the base x 4 3/4" at the lip. The vase has a yellow glaze under the raised design. The design looks like it's been applied on top of the yellow glaze. Parts of it are missing and there is a chip out of the lip but it is in the same conditon as when we got it.
It weighs about 4lbs so it's not a light piece.
I'm looking forward to finding out where it came from and whta it's value is.
