This is an antique teapot made in Yixing, China. There is a Master's Mark on the bottom but I have not been able to identify it. I have searched for hours online and have not been able to find a match anywhere. I read recently that a Yixing Teapot sold at auction for $2 million. I would like the Master's Mark identified and I would also like to know the time period that this was made.
It was acquired by family years ago at a yard sale or thrift store. Nothing else is known about the teapot.
Re: Antique Yixing Chinese Teapot
YOUR TEA POT LOOKS ALOT LIKE A LITTLE DISH I HAVE THAT WAS MADE IN CHINA - IT IS REALLY HARD TO TELL WHAT IT IS MADE OUT OF. IF YOU FIND OUT LET ME KNOW
