Arnel's pitchers

By hndsfll6, 8 July, 2014
Description

We have been going through my mother's and grandmother's stuff and found these 2 pitchers. I have looked online but cannot find a picture or description of these exact pitchers.  The yellow pitcher with green on the inside has the year 77 printed on it (I think).  The white one has SM 79 printed on the bottom.  Any information or guidance would be appreciated.

Re: Arnel's pitchers

Arnels made molds for ceramics, the company sold them to potteries dating back to 1953 . They were used by a lot of smaller studios teaching pottery classes, values for pieces cast from theri molds tend to be very modest, often under $20.00.

Re: Arnel's pitchers

Thanks for your help. I just didn't want to be the idiot who sold something at a yard sale and then end up seeing it on Antiques Roadshow. LOL
