Description

Hi.  I have here what appears to be some type of stone tablet with Chinese writing on it.  This was given to me by a friend.  It is 44.75" long, 13.875" tall, and .375" thick.  The front is black with a slight greenish hue in it, the back is grey like concrete.  It is kind of heavy - I'd estimate that it weighs around 20-25 lbs or so. 

It has 3 square panels on it that look to all contain the same Chinese characters.  I would think it might be a printing plate but the letters are etched in, not standing out as would be the case in a printing plate.

Also, does anyone have any idea what this thing says?   How about how old it is?  Where it came from?  How much it might be worth at auction?

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
