Description
I was given this cradle/baby bed as a gift. I do not know anything about its previous owner(s) or origin since it was bought at an auction. It is about 3 feet long by 1.5 feet wide and at least 3 feet tall. It is solid wood, I assume oak, because it is pretty heavy. It can rock like a cradle but also has a locking mechanism to hold it stable like a bed. The head and foot boards are solid wood with spindles on the sides. There are board slats for the bottom of the bed. It is in nearly perfect condition, but I don't know if it is original or restored. There are no maker's marks of any kind to identify it.
I would like to know about how old you think this is and how much it is worth.
