Beatles Butcher Cover

Description

Cover is NOT a paste-over or peel, and has some damage from a cement bookcase (scratch) and bottom spine broken. Wear marks are present, and has original patina. Is now kept in a sealed frame to prevent further damage. Record is with it, but of no value. Asking $2500. serious inquiries only. I purchased this item at a record store by waiting in line in the rain on it's only release day. The owner had an "in" with the distributors and was able to get a few 1st state copies.

Re: Beatles Butcher Cover

It is worth a lot; refer back to antique roadshow on PBS. The woman got it from SEARS when she was a kid and the album covers were quickly re-called and taken of the shelves. I can't remember how much, but I remember being surprised!
