Beautiful Duncan Phyfe Drop Leaf Library/Breakfast table w/ slide out drawer.

Description

This is my Duncan Phyfe "style" drop leaf table. I believe it is meant to seat 6 people. drop leafs on each side as well as 1 slide out drawer. Very nice condition  "1W405 H1" The joints that hold the drawer together seem to have much imperfection and are most likely hand carved. No other marking at all on entire table. Pedestal meets the ground at the four base table legs. 4 legs have brass lions feet. All hardware that should be with will be included however one of the peices of wood that come across and hold the connection of brass hardware to wood that was involved in its original injury. Please take a look at photos for for greater detail.

The drop leaves on the sides are supported by brass hardware that locks out to hold up the 2 extra leaves. Thus there are 4 peices of the mentioned brass hardware. On on connection between the drop leaf and the center portion of the table the hardware has split out the wood. Beside a couple small heat stains that are being a pain to get out, This table is in really great shape. Just needs the small structural repair in order to be in really wonderful Mint/antique condition I am almost positive that the table is made from beautful and stained walnut wood. I do note that it is possible that there is more than one type. I want to point you toward the center portion of the table the wood seems to have much much more character in the wood grain. I am thankful for this website. Thank you in advance for any advice and or help.

Have a great day,

I cant wait to hear back.

Take care
