This is a beautifully-shaped piece... not sure what to call it so we are calling it a vase. It is burgandy colored with darker colored fruit on the front and back. There are two gold-colored handles on each side. The top is fluted and trimmed with gold and the inside is an ivory color. The bottom marking is an emblem with PROV. SXE. E.S. Germany. Above the eblem, are the numbers 457/ 7815. There are no cracks or chips and it is in excellent condition.Â
My mom purchased this several years ago at a flea market because she loved the rich color and ornate design. She is in bad health now and we are going through her things to see what might be of value so we were hoping to get an appraisal on this. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
