Description
I got this from a friend who owned a antique store. She said that it had been there for over 20 years, and was taking up to much space and so heavy, that if I could get it out then I could have it!!! She said it was "German", and that is about all she said!!! I am downsizing and need to regime this beautiful piece!!! Any help on price range would be greatly appreciated, and I would also definitely love to know the history and all about it!!! Thanks for the help!!!
Re: Beautiful German Sideboard; Clueless Owner
This piece is a reproduction, not likely to predate the 1970's, the NF for Professional Furniture [NF Ameublement], is the French furniture standard, it requires a test of strength and durability for furniture and other items. Pieces like this tend to be a mix of antique furniture styles, which makes them appear far older than they really are. Values for large pieces like this have taken a tumble in recent years, a victim of decorating trends and downsizing, most sell at auction for under $300.00.
