I paid $50 for this old bookcase at a consignment shop. The owner of the bookcase had not paid his rent for some time, I made an offer of $50 to the store owner. The bookcase had mold on it and was pretty sad looking. She accepted my offer and a gentleman came running over to us saying we couldn't have the bookcase. The shop owner told him that he broke his contract by not paying his rent and the bookcase was hers to do with as she wished. He followed us out of the long driveway yelling at us but we didn't stop. I cleaned the mold off of the bookcase and I just love it. It has the painting on the drawer and has fancy medal pieces at the top and on the legs. I tried to get the best pictures I could.
I'd like to know about how much the bookcase is worth. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that knows anything about it.
