based on the image, this is a federal revival style cannonball bed, so named for the round balls on the bed posts. They are patterened after the originals made in the second quarter of the 19th Century. Most like this tend to date from the 1920's through to WW2. This one is nicer than most, even at auction these go for over $500.00.
