Beer Stein

Description

This is a rather crudely made beer stein that has a marking "1 1/2"  (which I assume is one and a half liters) that was scratched into the pottery material before it was fired. There are no other markings of any kind to be found. The lid appears to be pewter,  (and was unfortunately broken in transit) with a glass figure of a sitting man holding what appears to be a stein in one hand and something in the other. The overall height of the glass top figurine is approx 2 inches....
