If there are any markings on it we need to see them to determine a maker and date of production.

If it's marked "Germany" it post dates 1890. Country of origin markings came into effect about 1891 to comply with American trade laws, which required imported items to be marked with their country of origin. The American market being the largest growing one at the time, European potteries were quick to adopt the use of marks of this type. Most steins like this tend to date between world wars one and two (1918-39).

These were made in huge numbers, comparbles on ebay sell from $50.00- $150.00
