Description

I’ve had this mirror since 1984. It was found in an old shed, behind a pile of wood, on property my family bought in AZ. The backing is wood, and is attached with rivets, so I have never tried to remove it to look for signatures or such. There is some wear in the reflective material at the rivet points, and at the edges. I have NEVER seen another piece like this in the nearly 40 years I’ve had it, and can’t seem to find any info on it. Any help is appreciated!

If you do a google image search with “vintage art deco beveled mirror gazelle” you will see a pic of one that was on eBay. Unfortunately it’s no longer on eBay so you can’t click through to see it there. Same search shows a different but similar mirror on Pinterest. I believe it gave a period from 1925 - 1940 on that one but again not a lot of info. Here’s a similar motif https://www.pamono.com/vintage-art-deco-french-mirror-1930s-1 that might help you date yours.
