Description My mother thinks that it may have come from Africa.  Someone who grew up in the house was in Africa in the service perhaps around 1930.  I think the house was originally built by an old sea Captain.  My Grandmother and Grandfather purchased the house in the 1950's.  They wanted my Father to tear out a wall in the kitchen which was a divider into the pantry.  When my Father took the wall apart this little game was sitting on a two by four totally boarded up for all that time.  It looks like there may have been another layer of paper  covering the back of it.  The back looks like a type of thin wood or paper.  The band around the outside is hand tooled.
