Description
They're made of pieced together material (I think bone) and there are distinct variations in color from piece to piece as well as some porous areas. They're beautifully hand carved and in good shape, but obviously pretty old.

History
I inherited them, not sure how long they've been in the family, but we're from a long line of military. I saw something similar to these in the Ripleys beleive it or not museum and it was said to be made from water buffalo bone. I'm not sure of the age, they are old, but I was hoping I could find a more exact time frame.
