I have purchased several Brandt pieces more along the western line. They are extremely great tables and are usually quite saleable. The company went out of business quite a while ago but there is quite a bit of info on them on the net.
Tables like this tend to postdate World War Two (1945) and are loosely based on American Federal Furniture. Not much value currently, what you paid is about what they go for at Thrift Shops and garage sales.
