I found this wonderful jewelry box at a yard sale and asked someone about it and they stated that it is from the British occupation in the 1800's and that the clasp shows it may of been made in india but that is all they could tell me and said i should get it appraised I love the design on this box it is really beautiful it is solid brass and weighs just over 2 lbs it is 5x4x3.5 inches i have 3 photos taken of it let me know if you need more
