brass plate

would like to find out how old it is and what it could be worth and would consider selling it.

Hello, I too have a large very heavy brass platter. Have you had any other feed back yours? I was told that if the back of it is not perfectly flat that it means it was original( not mass produced) and therefore could be worth something. Mine has a really intricate Islamic calligraphy in the middle , with pyramids, camels and Egyptian people figures. It's looks to be the same size as yours as well. I have a sister and brother n law whom live in Istanbul, turkey and they told me they bought a  much smaller similar platter turned into a table for 200$ at a bazaar over there.. But that's all I've been able to gather from my own research. Just wondering if you could enlighten me further on your findings??
