lamps like this are of two types, genuine 19th Century student oil lamps that have been converted to electricity and reproductions made resemble them. This one is of the second type most likely dating from the second quarter of the 20th Century. These are mass produced items and silimalr lamps are still in production. Values for them depend on how close the follow original 19th Century designs and quality of construction, but we generally retail examples like this for under $150.00.
