How does instappraisl.com renew and show older items for view and appraisal? This item seems common enough that somebody knows and can offer a suggestion.
These suggestions may hold when appraising this item to consider: mid 20th century Japanese or Buddhist temple altar stand for candle or other devotional object?
Just today, I discovered this site. I have a similar pair of torchieres that were purchased at flea market. I know they must be worth considerable more than the amount I paid, $ 14. In the past, I have had very good luck "picking" and have made some nice profits. My previous experiences have been with purely decorative items or furniture. Items which I knew what was what. These candlabrums seem a little "special" so I am seeking advice about their history and, yes, what their worth is! I have had a considerable amount of difficulty trying to list my item. I did a search and found your post. The answer that you've recieved sounds, well, somewhat off. If you find a site or appraiser that is, at least, knowledgeable, please let me know here.
Re: Bronze candle holders, pair
Give a gander. Offer a thought here. Do you think circa 1940? Circa 1950? Circa 1960? Circa 1970? And write me something.

Re: Bronze candle holders, pair
Or sensibly assert: unique pair, bronze pedestals, $25,000
Re: Bronze candle holders, pair
Probably second quarter of the 20th Century, maker unknown, $150.00 for the pair.
