Pictured is what I believe to be a chinese bronze bowl. The bowl is 2,218 grams and a bronze color decorated with birds, vines and carved decoration lid.
The piece is 6" tall and 10" wide with a 5 7/8" opening.
Purchased at an auction. Was told owners lived in Paris and traveled around the world. Several other Chinese pieces also sold at auction but not sure if authentic.
This looks to be a Chinese Insence Burner. Do you know if there was a top for it ?
I cannot make out the hallmark for the dynasty by the pictures. There are many reproductions from Asia sold online like ebay, With the ware this piece looks to be mid 1800's.
Thanks for sharing ..
