Description The whole perimeter is surrounded by 32 rose cut diamonds set in silver (tarnished). The body is vermeil. The portrait is an amazing painting. In the headress is more rose cut diamonds, and an opal. There is a ruby set in her dress, which is made of gold. I have taken it to a few jewelers who validate the gold and jewels as real. On the back there is an option to use this as a brooch or pendant. A couple of the diamonds have been replaced...but all prongs are there, and it has never been 'married' at any point. All is original other than a couple diamonds. Under a microscope you can see a small scratch in the opal, and a tiny chip in the shoulder area. There are no signatures or marks.
