We purchased this table at an auction and have been having a hard time finding out any real information about it. We have found plenty of informatin about Brown Saltman and it seems to be a very collectible brand, but this particular piece seems to be rare. We have found similar end tables with this geometric base, but nothing of this size and with this sunburst style mosaic inlay.
It is just under 4 feet in diameter and 27in tall. It is in good condition, with only a few very small scratches. The finish looks to be thin in several spots. But it is a beautiful table. There is the Brown Saltman sticker on the bottom and it is stamped 'Made in Italy' below what appears to be the initials 'MWI'
