I've seen similar pieces listed, but never one exactly like this one.  It is my son's...inherited it.

It's in the Mission Style, Stickley was just one of many companies producing pieces like this circa 1900-1918. by the early years of the 20th century virtually every furniture company in North America was producing a line of Mission furniture.The style has also been reproduced since the 1980's. It would need a physical examination to narrow down it's origins.
