Description

I have an Asian teapot, I think is Chinese that looks like a bamboo chair with a cat sleeping on the seat.  The cat is the handle to lift the lid off.  It is small and has a maker mark molded into the bottom of the teapot and another mark on the underside of the lid.  I would just like information about this teapot so I know what I have.

It appears to be Chinese based on the marking and is quite modern, I doubt it predates the 1970's. Modern Novelty teapots like this tend to have very modest values, thisw one would probably go for less than $35.00.
