After much research I have come to believe the green is most likely Jade or possibly agate and the orange is Carnelian. The main piece is a little bit larger than an average marble. The 2 Carnelians on each side are about the size of the brown filter part of a cigarette and have a white-ish marbled effect randomly swirled throughout the beads. The following beads are round & appx.10mm each. The cord that runs through appears to be several strands twisted together (I assume for stregnth) and hand dyed as the color is not consistant. The cord is knotted inbetween each bead. There is no clasp on either end of the bead strings. The carnelian's are both carved or etched. The main bead is carved or etched as well, with symbols I have not been able to identify. I'm sure it says or means something, but I have no idea what... They do not appear to be machine made. They look oriental but I have also viewed some that were German & also some from Austria- so I'm totally confused.
