These were a really hot item in the 1980's, along with "Golden Oak furniture" and other 1890's items. Most Antique stores wanted one as a store fixture and values went through the roof. The fire has died down now, as has demand for late Victorian furniture, today a good in the rough will sell at auction for about $500.00- $700.00.
