Description
Very thick 2" solid wood planks, obviously very old. I placed a $20 on the left side of the open lid photo to show how thick the planks are. Some bark beetle damage esp. bottom/rear back (not usually visible)
Linseed oil finish...never painted. Back side and interior still show scrape marks from hand plane (original). Rest of exterior and top are original smooth finish and highly ornate.
