I don't know much about this item...I don't even know what to call it. It is an ink well desk set of some sort. There are no distinguishing marks or stamps anywhere on the piece. It is a dirty gold color and is solid and heavy. I'm not sure what kind of metal it is. The 3 chambers are attached and the kids are hinged and free moving. There is one of the 2 glass inserts in the outer chamber. I don't know the purpose of the middle chamber. The inner surface of the lids, on the 2 outer chambers, have a greenish diacoloration like copper, but the color looks a little to golden color to be sure. Please shed some light on the name, manufacturer, medium, age, rarity, and value of this item....exciting find and will truly cherish it!! Thank you for your time and efforts in this matter!
