Ceramic or porcelain candle holders

Profile picture for user Callipygian
By Callipygian, 27 June, 2008
Description

The artwork is blue, purple, green, with gold outlining everything. The designs are of grapes, pomegranate, and leaves. The inscription on the bottom looks like C&F Enterprises. I took the best possible pictures before batteries dying in camera. Not pictured but on the bottom of one candlestick is a round gold made in china tag, and a tage that says "article may poison the food, for decorative purposes only". Any help is appreciated.

Re: Ceramic or porcelain candle holders

This company started in 1976 under Carol Wang as a one woman enterprise importing from China, originally wiith porcelain and antiques selling out of Virginia ,  The company carried textiles also in the eighties

They now have a design team in China but are considered a gift type catalog , these would be more decorative than anything probably worth 35 to 75 dollars

They are still in business an you might send pictures and see if they can fill in the dating and uniqueness of the piece , this was an early logo , best of luck
