The item belonged to my father-in-law, but I don't know how he got it.
It's a fruit bowl or serving bowl, I don't know if it's porcelain or ceramic.
It's got a flower pattern inside and outside, it's edge is gold I think, and there's also a kind of golden chain pattern along the outer and inner edges. It's condition is excellent, it seems it's never been used. On the bottom it's inscribed:

STOKE-ON-TRENT.
It's got a 25 cm. diameter and 7 cm height.
